Overview
What this course is about
Every business in the world has to keep its books in order, and most business owners hate doing it themselves. That is why bookkeeping is one of the most stable and reliable remote skills you can learn, and this course teaches it specifically for working with clients abroad and getting paid in dollars. You start with the foundations of bookkeeping so the work actually makes sense: what accounts are, how money moves in and out of a business, and the difference between recording, reconciling and reporting. You do not need any accounting background to begin. Everything is explained in plain terms and practised on real examples until it becomes second nature. From there you move into the software that international clients actually use. You learn QuickBooks Online, which is in the highest demand with US businesses, and Xero, which is widely used in the UK, Australia and New Zealand. You practise the day to day work a real bookkeeper does: recording income and expenses, categorising transactions, reconciling bank statements, handling invoices and bills, and producing clean monthly reports the client can trust. Because the goal is remote income, the course also covers the professional side of the work. You learn how to communicate with foreign clients, how to handle their financial data responsibly, how to find bookkeeping work on platforms like Upwork, and how to get paid internationally through Payoneer. Bookkeeping clients usually stay for months or years, which means steady monthly income rather than one off jobs. Classes are small and hands on, so by the end you can confidently manage a real client's books from start to finish. No prior experience is needed to join.
